Guesthouse

Located in Palaios Agios Athanasios on the slopes of Mount Vora-Kaimatsalan, a few meters away from the main square, Karavitis Guest House is a stone-built guesthouse with 6 rooms which are equipped with central heating , bathroom , fully equipped kitchen, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, fireplace and TV.

Karavitis Guest House is built at an altitude of 1200 meters, in the northwest part of the village, with views across the region! You can find it easily either crossing the paved main street of the village and over the central square, or you can choose the regional entrance by turning right before the entrance of the village.

Visitors can go about the many attractions of the area. The most important is Kaimamtsalan ski center located 16 km away from Karavitis and considered one of the greatest in Greece. 

Guests can also get better with the area through various activities such as skiing, hiking, horseback riding, boating on Lake Vegoritida, and also organize trips to the traditional village of Nympheo, Kastoria and Prespa.

In the settlement of Palaios Agios Athanasios, there are plenty of traditional taverns and restaurants where you can taste the famous traditional cuisine of the region.
